ecoSNEAKS^tm

Just because a shoe is planet-friendly doesn't mean that it has to look like a hippie clod-hopper. So we've developed a line of sustainable sneakers called ecoSNEAKS^tm. In addition to looking great, ecoSNEAKS^tm use recycled car tires, organic cotton, and PET (think recycled water bottles) so they leave better ecological footprint than ordinary sneakers…

Green Toe^tm

We introduced Green Toe^tm in Fall 2005, and as a result, we've changed just about everything in our product line. Green Toe^tm showed us that it's not only possible to reduce the ecological footprint left by shoes, but that it's our duty to do so. Green Toe^tm represents our best possible effort towards making things better for the planet.

To reduce our environmental footprint, we're changing the way we make shoes by using sustainable materials like recycled car tires, crepe rubber, and organic cotton. StopGlobalWarming.org - Founded by Laurie David, John McCain and Robert F. Kennedy Jr, StopGlobalWarming.org has galvanized over 900,000 individual marchers including leading scientists, entertainers, athletes, political and religious leaders, and corporations who are concerned about the overheating of the planet and have united to urge government to find solutions to the growing and imminent danger of global warming.

Do It Yourself

Simple is proud to give the power of shoe making back to the shoe wearer with a collection of Do It Yourself products. Making shoes and bags yourself is not only a lot of fun, but it promotes sustainability by bridging the manufacturing gap. It's also a nice way to turn off the tube, and spend some time with your pals and family.

Bags

Sometimes, when you make the same thing for a while (those things being shoes, and a while being 15 years), you start salivating at the opportunity to make something new and different. Here at Simple, we like bags… a lot. And when we would look for bags to carry our laptops, our Ipods, Pixie Stix, and other assorted fun, we didn't like what we found. So we decided to make our own using the same sustainable materials we use to make our shoes. Click here to find out more.
